Care instructions for your baked and dipped treats

Please store your strawberries in the fridge. They are best enjoyed at room temp so bring them out 1hr before to eat. If they are not to be enjoyed the day of collection we recommend having within 24hrs however they often taste just as good up to 48hrs after the dipping process.

If you are travelling on a long car journey please keep them cool and away from direct heat source. Sun / Heating. We use ice packs for long travel. Deborah always has some to hand so please feel free to ask for one Free of Charge if you are worried. 

Cupcakes do not need to be stored in the fridge however if you intend of enjoying them after 24hrs we recommend the fridge. Please consume at room temp and are best within 3 - 5 days max.

If collecting the day before your event please store in the fridge overnight. Buttercream should not be displayed next to heat source / window (sun) for more than a hour otherwise the cake will melt. Ganche is more stable for this, please discuss with Deborah prior to booking. Enjoy cakes at room temp and keep in a cool area if displaying for evening. Please consume within 3 - 5 days. 

Buttercream cakes should be caried by the bottom of the box and held flat at all times. Please ensure space in your fridge if overnight storage is required and always store with the box / cake board flat.

Fully fondant cakes should not be stored in the fridge (small fondant decor is fine in fridge) Fondant cakes should be kept covered in box until event and set out for display on a flat even surface. Once cut, open side should be wrapped to keep cake fresh. Please consume within 3 - 5days. 

Spare cake after the event should be sliced, wrapped in clingfirm and frozen for maxium freshness. Slices will defrost within an hour and can be consumed straight after. DO NOT REFREEZE. 

Cookies should be store in gift box over night and kept out of the fridge. After this they should be stored in an airtight container and consumed within 3 days. 

Cakesicles are best enjoyed at room temp but can be stored in the fridge for maximum freshness. Consume within 3 - 5 days.

Cake and Nutella hearts are best enjoyed at room temp. Store Cake Hearts in fridge if you intend to enjoy after 24hrs. Both should be consumed within 5 days.
